We are delighted that Jacobs have supported the Warrington Wolves Community Foundation charity bike rides again as our relationship grows from strength to strength. The synergy between the charity’s ethos and Jacobs values allows the opportunities available to our community to evolve and this year, the event will see 40 bike riders attempt to challenge themselves to achieve more, inspiring others along the way.
The bike rides happen over multiple days, with the first being the cycle to the seaside, and the following one going as far as London over the course of three days.
Cycle 1 - Cycle to the Seaside… Back to Black(pool): Starting off at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on the 8th August, the riders will cycle the distance of over 100 miles as they head to Blackpool Tower and back. More Details on how you can sign up can be found by clicking the button below.
Cycle 2 - Tower to Tower… Womble to Wimbledon: After returning from the previous days 'cycle to the seaside', riders will set off for their journey down to London to see the Warrington Wolves face off against the London Broncos. For more information, click the button below.
Jacobs’ invaluable support and expertise has allowed us to take the challenges to the next level, helping to raise much-needed funds to help make the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in the town better through our life changing projects.
As well as this, Jacobs has sponsored our Disability Teams for another season. The continued support means that we can engage more individuals playing rugby league in a form that adapts to their needs to most. Through sponsoring, Jacobs has supported more than 120 individuals in playing for their hometown, something which most dream of and will not let a disability stop them from doing.
