Pack Run: Step Forward

Pack Run is a new weekly running club designed to improve physical, emotional and social wellbeing by developing a community of support. The aim of the sessions go beyond physical fitness, focusing on enhancing social connections and emotional wellbeing through the shared experience of running.

Pack Run embraces the philosophy that running is more than just a solo endeavour; it’s a way to build community resilience. By running together as a Pack, members will not only work towards individualised personal goals but also support each other in developing a sense of belonging.

Pack Run will offer structured weekly sessions tailored to varying fitness levels, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably. Experienced coaches will be on hand to deliver the sessions that include warm-ups, cool-downs, and technique tips to help members improve endurance, strength, and confidence.

What sets Pack Run apart is its emphasis on mental fitness. Through group discussions, mindfulness practices, and a judgment-free environment, the club will provide a space to openly share experiences and challenges. The camaraderie forged on the pavements will extend beyond running, fostering genuine friendships and a sense of camaraderie to offer a helping hand when times get tough.

Pack Run will meet every Wednesday (6pm) at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and operates the Penny to Pound Scheme, if you can afford a penny, pay a penny, if you can afford a pound, pay a pound. We'll see you there.
