Wheelchair Rugby League
The Most Inclusive Sport
Wheelchair rugby league is an adaptive version of rugby league, designed for people with physical disabilities and is open to abled bodied too. It is played on indoors courts, with teams of five players who use specialised sports wheelchairs. The game combines elements of rugby league and wheelchair basketball, featuring high-intensity action, strategic play, and physical contact.
Upcoming Home Fixtures
Our Wheelchair Rugby League team plays home fixtures at Cardinal Newman Catholic High School, a fully accessible venue that offers a supportive atmosphere for players and fans alike. Home games typically take place on Saturday Afternoons, with fixtures running from May to August.
