Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities and special educational needs (SEN)?
At Warrington Wolves Community Foundation, we believe in creating a more inclusive, supportive, and empowering world — and we’re looking for someone with heart, drive, and empathy to join our brilliant team as a full-time Community Activator.
This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to help children and adults feel valued, included, and confident through the power of sport, education, and meaningful connection.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Community Activator, you’ll lead and deliver high-quality disability and SEN-focused sessions in schools and community settings across Warrington. Your work will directly support our mission to “Be the Change” by improving lives through inclusive programming and positive relationships.
You’ll be responsible for:
-
Delivering engaging and accessible sessions tailored for participants with disabilities and SEN.
-
Planning, coordinating, and leading school and community projects from concept through to delivery.
-
Promoting inclusion and wellbeing through sport, education, health, and heritage-based initiatives.
Whether you're running a sports session, engaging a class of SEN students, or creating a welcoming space for adults with disabilities, your role will be key in building confidence, independence, and community connection.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
-
Passionate about inclusion, with experience or interest in working with individuals with disabilities and/or SEN.
-
Organised, creative, and enthusiastic about community sport and education.
-
A team player who can work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.
-
In possession of a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for travelling between delivery locations).
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow personally and professionally, while making a lasting impact in their community.
