Warrington Wolves Touch Team gets Heritage Numbers
For the past two years, the RFL has hosted the Premier Touch Rugby competitions, bringing together the elite Foundation touch teams to compete for the prestigious title of Premier Touch Rugby League champions. These tournaments showcase the incredible talent and dedication of participants, with teams battling it out for the top spot in this growing and exciting format of the sport.
In 2024, our Warrington Wolves Touch Rugby team made history by going unbeaten in both the qualifying event in Hull and the finals day in Wigan, where we were crowned the champions. This victory was even more special as it marked a step up from 2023, where we narrowly missed out as runners-up. The journey to becoming champions reflects the hard work, commitment, and passion of each player involved.
In recognition of their achievements, we are proud to be the first Foundation to award heritage numbers to our players. These numbers symbolise their place in the rich history of our team and the sport, celebrating their contribution to our success. Every player from both the 2023 and 2024 squads will receive this honour, forever linking them to the legacy of Warrington Wolves' Touch Rugby.
