Women’s Football

With almost 3 million female players, football is the biggest women’s team sport in England and the new Warrington Wolves Women’s Football Club is proud to play its part.

Our friendly Club has enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaches who provide a rewarding environment for all players who want to play football whilst developing their skills. The main objective is for women to enjoy football, whilst encouraging healthy competition. Our players support the development of the next generation by offering FA Wildcats sessions in partnership with the existing junior football leagues.

The Wildcats initiative offers girls aged 5-11 a chance to try football for the first time and support them to access regular opportunities to play with Warrington. By providing a safe environment, girls can have fun engaging with sport, make new friends, develop fundamental skills and creating the foundations for a lifelong love of sport.

There are many ways for women to join in, no matter what your age or ability level, whether you just want to have a kick-about with your friends or whether you want to be the next Lioness.
