Welcome to the team!

We would like to welcome Alex Bielby to our Rugby League team.

Alex joins us in a full time position as Talent Development Coach where the role will cover two key areas.

Firstly he will continue the growth and development of our Secondary Schools program through regular coaching, both curriculum,  after school and all our competitions ensuring that we are able to continue to provide the correct level of competition for all players, so they develop a love for rugby league. This is continuing to build on the fantastic work Ryan Cartledge has done with the schools over the last 2 years.

Secondly the role will look to review and enhance our talent development pathways, including a full review of our current England Talent Pathway (EPT) and Community Club delivery across the age groups of under 12’s – 18’s. This will be done with the full support and guidance of our Rugby League Manager Lee Mitchell and Head of Youth Gary Chambers, and is to ensure we are maximising the number of players playing at these age groups across the town, while developing our teams and coaches to support them all in reaching their potential.

This is an exciting development for Rugby League in the town and we are looking forward to seeing Alex progress as an individual alongside having a wider impact on rugby league in the town for the Warrington Wolves Foundation, all our Community Clubs and future generations of Warrington Wolves players and fans.
