In a time when we all want to leave 2020 behind, the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation are launching their strategy to support positive change in our communities.
The Foundation’s newly appointed Chair Peter Astley MBE and Warrington Wolves Rugby Club Chair Stuart Middleton joined together to support the goal of building a healthier and more resilient Warrington community.
In front of the replicated iconic Wilderspool Scoreboard, where Stuart, Club Chairman started his association with the club back at Wilderspool with his business Excelsior , he spoke passionately, “the club have always believed in the power of sport, our Foundation have been at the forefront of many inspiring initiatives that we are immensely proud. I want the Warrington Community to get behind this strategy and drive the change.”
Peter, Chair of the Foundation and Chief of Staff for the Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner said, “The Foundation, which recently celebrated its 15 year birthday, has fully established itself as part of the Town’s fabric making a real difference to the Community in many extremely positive ways. This strategy sets out clearly how the Foundation Team, Warrington Wolves, our Business patrons, myself and fellow Trustees, will provide a vehicle in these difficult times to continue to make a real difference in the areas of most need.
