In anticipation of a home Rugby League World Cup, the RFL are running their biggest ever recruitment drive – ‘InspiredBy’ – to encourage more people to play rugby league.
As part of the ‘InspiredBy’ campaign, Warrington Wolves and the Warrington Wolves Foundation will be supporting Three Lions Week, where we will be providing people of all ages and abilities the chance to get involved in rugby league through our different activities, sessions and club open days.
Running between 25 Sept – 2 Oct, Three Lions Week looks to capitalise on rugby league fever by starting the day after the men’s Grand Final and two weeks prior to the Rugby League World Cup kicking off.
Lee Mitchell, our Rugby League Manager said;
“Here at the Warrington Wolves Foundation, we’re incredibly proud of our rugby league projects which bring our sport to people of all ages and abilities.
“Rugby League is definitely a sport for everyone, and Three Lions Week is a great way to encourage people to come and give it a go.”
