Recycle your old Wire shirts
Warrington Wolves have teamed up with Locker Stash to give fans the chance to recycle their old Wire shirts and make our community more environmentally friendly.
Beginning at our Heritage Round match against Wigan Warriors this Friday 29 April, supporters will be able to donate any old, unused shirts with collection points available around The Halliwell Jones Stadium. The clothes are then either upcycled into producing other products such as cushions or hats or will be donated as sporting clothing equipment to less advantaged groups in the UK.
Furthermore, the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation will receive a financial contribution for each shirt donated so the more shirts equals more funding for the fantastic community projects we have at the club and across our schools and community clubs.
This is an ongoing project as part of our club commitment to become a more sustainable business in 2022 and beyond. The Locker Stash drop-off points will be in the official club store so feel free to wear your favourite retro colours on Friday night for one last time before donating to the cause on Saturday!
If you have any kit to donate or questions about how the partnership works or how to get involved please contact jameshowes@warringtonwolvesfoundation.com to find out other ways you can help.
