The Warrington Wolves Community Foundation is proud to announce the release of a powerful new video titled "Y'alright?" aimed at raising mental health awareness and fostering meaningful conversations within the community. The video stars actor Dave Anderson, who navigates a game day at The Halliwell Jones Stadium and encounters numerous people casually asking, "Y'alright?" without genuinely listening to his response.

In a poignant twist, the video concludes with someone sincerely asking, "Are you alright?" This pivotal moment prompts the supporter to open up, emphasising the importance of truly listening when checking in on someone's wellbeing.

The release of "Y'alright?" coincides with Rugby League Cares' and Super League's #TackleTheToughStuff round, an initiative dedicated to stimulating conversations around mental health by addressing difficult issues. The video will premiere on the big screen during the Warrington Wolves vs. Leeds Rhinos match at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Thursday, 11th July, with an 8 PM kickoff.

The "Y'alright?" video encourages viewers to access the Warrington Borough Council's "Happy? OK? Sad?" website, a valuable resource offering support and information about mental health services and groups available in the Warrington & Cheshire area.

"We are thrilled to launch this video during the #TackleTheToughStuff round," said James Howes, Health and Wellbeing Manager at The Warrington Wolves Community Foundation. "Our aim is to encourage our community to move beyond the greeting 'Y'alright?' and truly engage in meaningful conversations that can make a big difference in someone's life, knowing that somebody is willing to listen. The opportunity to build on our fantastic Offload men’s mental fitness project which continues to support males with the challenges of life will help normalise conversations about the way we are all feeling, by showing empathy and genuine care"

The Warrington Wolves Foundation extends its gratitude to partners Super League, Rugby League Cares, Warrington Borough Council, Warrington's Own Buses, Phil Perkin Designs, The Samaritans and actors Dave Anderson and Colin Ford for their invaluable contributions to this project.

Fans and the community are encouraged to watch the "Y'alright?" video and share it widely to help spread this important message. To access the "Happy? Ok? Sad?" site, visit: https://www.warringtonwolves.com/yalright
