The Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Community Rugby League Coach. As a coach, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality rugby league programs and initiatives that promote social inclusion, health and wellbeing, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate community rugby league coaching sessions and programs for individuals of all ages and abilities.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for participants, ensuring they feel empowered and motivated to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with other coaches, volunteers, and staff to create innovative and engaging coaching sessions that align with the Foundation's values and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of Level 2 Rugby League Coaching qualification.
- Proven experience in coaching rugby league at various levels, preferably within a community or grassroots setting.
- Knowledge of community development principles and the ability to use sport as a tool for positive change.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to effectively plan and deliver coaching sessions and programs.
- A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals through sport.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
