Last night we thanked Pat Kitto French for 18 years of trusteeship with the Community Foundation. Pat is one of the founding trustees which has seen us grow into one of the most highly respected charities in sport.
It wasn’t sport that Pat was brought on board to support it was the impact of the organisation on warrington community and community education. The power of a sports club in its town.
The guidance proved a success with the development of a community floor at the stadium. Pat continued to drive us forward and took lead on governance. Lots of these roles that trustees take on are unseen but vital to the organisations running. Tonight we recognised Pat with our Trustee Emeritus over the years she hasn’t just been a trustee she’s been a good friend to everyone here at the foundation.
