We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s **Magic Weekend Charity Bike Ride** raised an incredible **£17,000** for the **Warrington Wolves Foundation**, helping us continue our mission to create a **happier, healthier, and more inclusive Warrington** for everyone. ![BS-6025](https://26662234.fs1.hubspotusercontent-eu1.net/hub/26662234/hubfs/BS-6025.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=BS-6025.jpg) Over the course of a gruelling **400+ mile journey from Cardiff to Newcastle**, our amazing team of cyclists stopped off at each of the previous **Magic Weekend** stadiums — from the Principality Stadium to the Halliwell Jones, Anfield, Etihad Stadium, Elland Road, and finally St James’ Park. With tough climbs, long hours in the saddle, and plenty of laughs along the way, this year's challenge was a huge success in more ways than one.   🏉 **A Matchday Moment to Remember** To mark the team's incredible achievement, we invited our riders onto the pitch at last week’s **Warrington vs Hull KR** game to take part in the **pre-match flag ceremony** — a fitting way to say thank you in front of the home crowd. We were also delighted to be joined on the pitch by **Gillian from Amentum**, our **headline sponsor**, whose support played a crucial role in bringing this event to life.   ![BS-7761](https://26662234.fs1.hubspotusercontent-eu1.net/hub/26662234/hubfs/BS-7761.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=BS-7761.jpg) ![BS-4](https://26662234.fs1.hubspotusercontent-eu1.net/hub/26662234/hubfs/BS-4.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=BS-4.jpg) ![BS-88](https://26662234.fs1.hubspotusercontent-eu1.net/hub/26662234/hubfs/BS-88.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=BS-88.jpg) 🌱 **A Greener Ride Than Ever** Sustainability was a big focus this year. We’re proud to say we went **completely paperless**, encouraged all riders to use **reusable water bottles**, and through their pedal-powered journey, our riders helped save **over 1.6 tonnes of carbon emissions** — the equivalent of what would have been emitted if each participant had made the journey in a petrol car. A small change, with a big impact.   💬 **What’s Next?** The wheels are already turning for next year’s challenge! We’re looking at how we can **go even bigger, better, and greener** — and we’d love to hear from **you**. Got an idea for next year’s ride? Want to be part of the team? Let us know — your input could help shape our next great adventure. ![BS-5966-1](https://26662234.fs1.hubspotusercontent-eu1.net/hub/26662234/hubfs/BS-5966-1.jpg?width=1200&length=1200&name=BS-5966-1.jpg) 🙌 **Thank You** To every rider, donor, sponsor, and supporter — thank you. Whether you were on the bike, part of the support crew, cheering from the sidelines or hitting the donate button, this success is yours too. Special thanks again to our generous sponsors: **[Amentum](https://www.amentum.com), [Central Self Drive](https://centralselfdrive.co.uk), [Arnold Clark](https://www.arnoldclark.com), [Sentinel Ambulance Service](https://sentinel-ambulance.co.uk), [Warrington Cycle Hub](https://www.warringtoncyclehub.co.uk/index/), and[1895 Sports](https://www.1895sports.com).** The £17,000 raised from this year’s charity bike ride will go directly into supporting vital community programmes. This includes delivering inclusive sports sessions for children and adults with disabilities, offering mental health support workshops, providing opportunities for older adults to stay active and connected, and creating safe, welcoming spaces for people of all ages and backgrounds. Every pound helps us tackle the tough stuff and continue building a Warrington where everyone truly feels they belong. Together, we’ve proven that every mile matters — not just for fitness, but for **real impact** in our community.   **Until next year... keep pedalling, keep supporting, and keep believing in a stronger Warrington.** 💛 #### Become a Business Patron Today [Get Started](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/bronze-business-patronage) ![](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/hubfs/photo.jpg) ###### Ben Stiff Our Latest ##### Related Articles ![](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/hs-fs/hubfs/BS--9-2.jpg?width=700&name=BS--9-2.jpg) Rugby League ### [Growing Stronger Together: The Rise of Our Women’s-Only Touch Rugby Sessions](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/community-blog/womens-touch-rugby-rise) ![](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/hs-fs/hubfs/BS-1746.jpg?width=700&name=BS-1746.jpg) Rugby League ### [150 Years of Wire: Preserving Our Past Through People](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/community-blog/150-years-of-wire) ![](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/hs-fs/hubfs/WhatsApp%20Image%202025-11-10%20at%2012.04.34_b79b3633.jpg?width=700&name=WhatsApp%20Image%202025-11-10%20at%2012.04.34_b79b3633.jpg) Health & Wellbeing ### [One Wolves Ahead of the Game](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/community-blog/one-wolves-ahead-of-the-game) ##### Become a Business Patron [![Logo - Blue-1](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Logo%20-%20Blue-1.png?width=100&height=75&name=Logo%20-%20Blue-1.png "Logo - Blue-1")](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/) - [Team](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/warrington-wolves-foundation-team-members) - [Events](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/foundation-events) - [Be The Change](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/be-the-change) - [Blog](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/community-blog) - [Pledge](https://warringtonwolvesfoundation.com/mypledge) The Halliwell Jones Stadium, Mike Gregory Way, Warrington WA2 7NE | [01925 248894](https://www.google.com/search?q=wolves+foundation+phone+number&rlz=1C5CHFA_enGB995GB995&oq=wolves+foundation+phone+number&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIICAEQABgWGB4yCggCEAAYhgMYigUyCggDEAAYhgMYigUyCggEEAAYhgMYigXSAQg2NzgxajFqNKgCALACAA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#) © Warrington Wolves Foundation 2023.  All rights reserved.
