It is an opportunity to work across Warrington—inspiring young people, building relationships and strengthening local communities. You will help people discover a love of Rugby League and create a clear pathway from school sport into the community game. We are looking for a natural people person, someone who is confident, approachable and enthusiastic, and who will be proud to represent Warrington Wolves Community Foundation and the Warrington Wolves badge.   **About the Role** No two days are the same for a Community Activator. Working across Warrington, you will deliver engaging activities, strengthen community connections and help more people benefit from sport, physical activity and the Foundation’s wider programmes. **Key Responsibilities** - Deliver Rugby League activities in schools settings across Warrington. - Support transitions from schools to community clubs. - Create more opportunities for people of all ages to take part in our sport. - Strengthen connections across the town and increase participation. - Build upon the positive links between schools, our community clubs, Warrington Wolves and the Foundation.   **What will You Be Doing?** **Inspire Young People in Schools** You will deliver fun, engaging Rugby League sessions in primary schools, helping young people build confidence, teamwork and resilience while developing a lasting enjoyment of being active. By creating positive experiences of the sport, you will build excitement around Rugby League and help children feel connected to their local club and community.   **Grow Community Rugby League Engagement** You will collaborate with community clubs, organisations and local partners to create more opportunities for people of all ages to engage with Rugby League. This may include delivering activities in community settings, promoting the Foundation’s wider programmes and encouraging participation in opportunities across the town.   **Create Memorable Experiences** You will help deliver school competitions, festivals, community events, engagement activities and town-wide activities that bring people together and create lasting memories.   As a visible representative of the Foundation, you will help people across Warrington understand who we are, what we do and how they can get involved.   **Build Strong Relationships** Building trust is central to this role. You will develop positive relationships with schools, community clubs, local organisations and stakeholders, strengthening the Foundation’s network and extending the reach of its programmes.   **Champion Our Mission** As a community activator within Rugby League, you will help support our mission of getting more people involved in Rugby League.   ### **Our Ideal Candidate** **Community focus** • Passionate about working with children, young people and local communities. • Enthusiastic about Rugby League and the positive difference sport can make.   **Communication and delivery** • Confident leading coaching sessions and engaging groups of all ages. • A strong communicator who enjoys meeting people and building lasting relationships.   **Approach and availability** • Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. • Flexible enough to support occasional evening and weekend activities. • Proud to represent Warrington Wolves Community Foundation and the Warrington Wolves badge. • Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle, which are essential for the role.
